As a result of our most popular variety Saxon becoming vastly more popular than other varieties grown last year we have chosen to grow our entire first early potatoes Saxon. To speed up the growing process and to protect the potatoes from frost we have covered the potatoes in plastic.

At Steele Farm we do our best to reduce the amount of artificial inputs used to grow our crops. This is aided by using modern GPS technologies to reduce input overlap to the greatest extent possible.
